The California Department of Transportation has awarded a Non-Information Technology Services Personal Services contract to Automotive Video Innovations valued at $47,700.00. The contract is scheduled for completion on April 10, 2028. The prime contractor will deliver a single training workshop service focused on technician training in diagnostic and repair techniques for high voltage vehicles, with a unit price of $47,700.00 per engagement.

This contract represents a specialized professional services engagement designed to build internal or workforce capacity in the area of high voltage vehicle diagnostics and repair. The deliverable is structured as a one-time training workshop rather than an ongoing service relationship, suggesting a focused knowledge transfer initiative by the Department of Transportation to address technician skill requirements in electric or hybrid vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. The contract type classification indicates this is a personal services arrangement rather than a traditional goods or equipment procurement.
