Contract CW39482

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents awarded a contract to Italy Abroad Program, represented by Vincent J. Amalfitano, for the provision of study abroad logistics and services supporting a faculty-led summer global course program. The contract, identified as CW39482, is valued at $84,000 and covers the period of May 25 through June 8, 2026. The program is being delivered in Ischia, Italy, and encompasses comprehensive logistics services including housing accommodations, meals, excursions, transportation, and academic support for the course "Positive Psychology in Italy" (PSYC 4680).

The program is designed for a minimum of 20 students at a cost of $2,800 per student, with three faculty members participating at no additional charge. Italy Abroad Program was selected as the sole provider under a Professional Services exception to non-competitive procurement, as the contractor was determined to be uniquely capable of delivering the specialized Italy-based logistics and cultural activities required to meet the course outcomes. The agreement includes standard cancellation policies with graduated refund schedules and force majeure provisions, with student payments due to the University of Nebraska by April 15, 2026.
