Contract 1423413

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services awarded a contract to John Henry's Plumbing Co - Purchasing on March 10, 2026, for plumbing services classified under Contract Type Z8. The contract was executed with a total contract amount of $1,444.00 and a completion date of March 12, 2026, representing a two-day performance period. As a purchasing-designated vendor, John Henry's Plumbing Co was positioned to provide plumbing-related goods or services to support the Department of Correctional Services' facility operations and maintenance requirements.

The contract represents a routine maintenance or repair engagement typical of correctional facility operations. The limited contract value and compressed performance timeline indicate this award addressed an immediate or emergency plumbing need within the Department's correctional facilities. No specific geographic location of performance is identified in the award documentation; however, performance would reasonably be expected at Department of Correctional Services facilities throughout Nebraska. This award demonstrates the Department's reliance on qualified local trade contractors to maintain critical infrastructure and operational systems within its correctional institution network.
