The Florida Department of Health has awarded contract EP492206 for Starlink Global Priority Satellite Service, designed to ensure communication continuity during disaster events. The contract, valued at $2,000.00, covers a service period from November 2025 through June 2026, with a monthly service rate of $250 for up to eight months of potential satellite communication support.

The primary service involves a flexible satellite communication solution that can be activated during emergency scenarios, specifically when standard communication devices are compromised. The contract allows for on-demand connection and disconnection of the Starlink Global Priority Satellite Service, enabling the Department of Health to maintain critical communication infrastructure during potential disaster situations. The contract's structured approach permits service activation only when necessary, with a maximum monthly expenditure of $250 and a total contract value of $2,000.00 for the specified period.
