The Florida Department of Children and Families has awarded contract C78DEE for expert witness testimony and deposition services. The contract, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, engages Dr. Linda Abeles to provide these services on an as-needed basis for the Department's Children's Legal Services division operating in Circuit 3. The total contract value is $1,500.00, structured as a blanket purchase order with a unit price of $1.00 per service unit, with a projected quantity of 1,500 units over the performance period.

This procurement replaces the prior fiscal year purchase order C5BABB and establishes a framework agreement to ensure expert witness availability for legal proceedings involving child welfare matters within the specified circuit. The contract terms provide flexibility in service delivery, allowing the Department to request testimony and deposition services from Dr. Abeles according to litigation requirements and caseload demands throughout the contract year.
