Swimming lessons for eligible children 4 and younger as part of the swimming lesson voucher…

The Florida Department of Health awarded contract C7841A effective July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, for the provision of swimming lessons to eligible children four years of age and younger. The contract is valued at $3,000.00 and authorizes the delivery of 120 individual swimming lessons at $25.00 per lesson. The program operates under the authority of Florida Statute Section 514.073 and is structured to provide eight lessons per child, with billing occurring upon lesson completion. Authorized users for contract administration are Ronda Cerulli and Robert Jewett.

The swimming lesson voucher program represents a public health initiative designed to provide aquatic safety instruction to vulnerable pediatric populations. Lessons are to be delivered during the six-month contract performance period, with compensation based on actual lesson completion rather than advance payments. The contract structure allows for up to 15 children to receive the full complement of eight lessons within the stated budget parameters.
