The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles awarded contract C73CC6 to the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort for accommodations supporting the 2026 Florida Inspectors Championship and Florida Trucking Association Driving Championship. The contract, valued at $11,907.00, covers lodging services at the hotel located at 100 North Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32118. The facility was selected as the prime location due to its proximity to the convention center where training, meetings, championship competitions, and outreach activities were conducted, as well as its provision of security services and convenient access for early morning and late evening equipment movement.

The performance period extended from June 2, 2026 through June 7, 2026. The contract encompassed 81 room nights at $147.00 per night to accommodate 21 members attending the championship events. The hotel accommodations included no parking fees, and the centralized location facilitated operational requirements for the event participants and supporting staff throughout the duration of the championship series.
