Plumbing service/installation to create operational bathroom facility at Joe Budd Wildlife…

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission awarded contract C6DD1A on February 25, 2026, for plumbing services and installation at the Joe Budd Wildlife Management Area Shop. The contract, valued at $3,495.00, encompasses a complete bathroom facility installation, including permit acquisition and inspections. The scope of work involves roughing in a new sanitary system for one toilet and one lavatory sink installed within a built-in wood false floor for a half bath, with connection to the existing sewer line and installation of an automatic air vent for the sanitary system.

The contract period extends through June 30, 2026. Work includes tying the new installation onto the existing three-quarter inch polyvinyl chloride water line in the ground in front of the building using chlorinated polyvinyl chloride piping, running exposed supply lines to both fixtures with cold water only, installing a main supply shut-off valve, supply stops, and flexible no-burst supply lines, and insulating all exposed piping. Final installation of the customer-provided toilet, sink, and faucet will occur after wall and flooring installation by others are completed.
