The Florida Department of Children and Families has awarded a semi-annual contract (C6B1A9) for maintenance and service of HVAC equipment at the Roberts Building in the North Region. The contract, valued at $31,250.00, covers the period from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, and serves as a bridge until a new Invitation to Bid (ITB) can be processed. The scope of work includes comprehensive annual and periodic maintenance inspections, with specific focus on equipment such as cooling towers, chillers, condensers, and water pumps.

The contract provides extensive coverage including one comprehensive annual inspection, three periodic maintenance inspections, monthly lamp replacement, and emergency service calls. Parts, materials, refrigerants, and labor for diagnostic and repair work are included, with the exception of crane services. The agreement offers preferred service status and requires written reports following each maintenance activity or service call. This interim contract ensures continuous equipment maintenance and operational readiness for the state facility while a long-term replacement contract is being developed.
