The Florida Department of Health awarded contract C687FC on December 2, 2025, for interior wall texturing and preparation services. The contract, valued at $15,167.64, is set to be completed by February 28, 2026, and encompasses comprehensive wall restoration and texturing work across multiple interior spaces. The project scope includes labor-intensive surface preparation, including sanding walls, repairing drywall damage from wallpaper removal, and applying knockdown texture to approximately 8,560 square feet of interior surfaces.

Specific areas to be textured include corridors, four offices, a waiting room, break room, two restrooms, a playroom, and the front lobby. The contract includes two primary line items: labor services for surface preparation and texturing, and materials required for wall texturing. The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive surface protection, including covering floors, ceilings, doors, chair rails, and furniture during the renovation process. Additionally, the project involves a specialized skim coating of the playroom's bottom area to achieve a smoother surface before applying the final texture.
