Thread, POSTMAN BLUE, D-Core Tex 40, (12K yd cone) *Freight included in unit price* and 2 more items

The Florida Department of Corrections has awarded a contract (C64C6B) for specialized textile materials, effective from October 6, 2025, through December 31, 2025. The contract encompasses three distinct line items: 30 cones of Postman Blue D-Core Tex 40 thread at $18.29 per unit, 30 cones of White Permacore Tex 40 thread at $15.79 per unit, and 2,850 units of 1.5 knit elastic with specific gauge and warp specifications at $0.18 per unit. The total contract value is $1,535.40, with freight costs included in the unit pricing.

The procurement appears to be for specialized textile materials likely used in uniform or operational clothing production within the Florida correctional system. The threadwork specifications suggest precision manufacturing requirements, with detailed descriptions of thread type, color, and elastic characteristics. The short performance period of approximately two months indicates this may be a targeted, specific-purpose procurement to replenish or supplement existing textile inventory for the Department of Corrections' operational needs.
