The Florida Department of Children and Families awarded a contract on January 16, 2026, with a completion date of June 30, 2026, for the procurement of assistive technology devices for individuals with visual impairments. The contract, identified by the reference number C6B20A, encompasses three distinct line items with a total contract value of $331.00. The purchased items include one King James Version (KJV) Audio Bible Player priced at $46.24, four English Standard Version (ESV) Dramatized Audio Bible Players at $47.18 each, and five Talking Watches for the Blind at $19.38 per unit.

These specialized communication and accessibility devices appear designed to support visually impaired individuals, particularly seniors, by providing audio-based biblical resources and time-telling capabilities. The contract suggests a targeted procurement to enhance communication and religious engagement for individuals with visual limitations. The relatively low contract value indicates this may be a small, specialized acquisition focused on providing adaptive technologies to support specific client needs within the Florida Department of Children and Families' service population.
