The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has awarded a contract (C60EA9) for the procurement of a ballistic vest for Sergeant David Bazinet. The contract, valued at $734, is executed under the state body armor contract #46151500-NASPO-21-ACS and provides for the purchase of a single protective vest with free freight shipping. The contract specifies that individual troopers may contribute additional personal funds for vest upgrades.

The contract period of performance spans from the award date of August 15, 2025, to the completion date of June 30, 2026. The line item details indicate a single unit purchase with a unit price of $734, to be procured under the state of Florida's established body armor contract mechanism. The documentation suggests this is a targeted procurement for specific protective equipment for law enforcement personnel, with provisions for individual customization.
