Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall Credits - Subscription license - to deploy VM-Series…

The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded a contract (EP450039) for Palo Alto Networks cybersecurity infrastructure, specifically Next-Generation Firewall Credits. The contract provides for 430 subscription licenses enabling deployment of VM-Series and CN-Series network security solutions, along with Subscription Services and Virtual Panorama software for managing software firewalls. The contract has a total value of $61,932.90, with a performance period from July 31, 2025 to July 30, 2026.

The unit pricing for the firewall credits is $144.03 per license, covering a comprehensive suite of network security technologies. This state-level contract appears to be structured to enhance the Florida Department of Transportation's cybersecurity capabilities through advanced firewall and network management technologies. The procurement leverages a standardized contracting mechanism, likely an Omnia-based cooperative purchasing agreement, to facilitate efficient acquisition of critical information technology infrastructure.
