The Florida Department of Children and Families awarded contract C71A48 on April 14, 2026, for the procurement of chlorine test strips. The contract is valued at $893 and encompasses 50 individual test strip units at a unit price of $17.86 each. The test strips are classified as TK141700945T model with a measurement range of 0 to 2000 parts per million (ppm) for chlorine detection and include pH resolution capabilities. The contract period extends through June 30, 2026.

The procurement was executed through the NASPO (National Association of State Procurement Officials) Cooperative Purchasing agreement, indicating participation in a multi-state cooperative contract vehicle. While the prime contractor name is not specified in the available documentation, the contract represents a straightforward commodities purchase for laboratory or operational testing supplies. The relatively modest contract value and short performance period suggest this may constitute a single order under an existing blanket purchasing agreement or cooperative framework.
