The Florida Department of Health has awarded a contract (C61DA5) for emergency rescue tools, effective August 26, 2025, with a completion date of June 30, 2026. The contract involves the procurement of four emergency rescue tools, each priced at $20.08, resulting in a total contract value of $80.08. The specified line item is a multifunctional emergency tool featuring a contoured handle with rubber grip, bright white LED flashlight, fold-away seat belt cutter, and glass breaker functionality.

The contract includes high-visibility red emergency tools that come with 3 AAA batteries and measure 8 inches in length and 2 inches in width. Delivered as individual units, these tools are designed for emergency response and rescue situations, potentially for use by first responders or emergency service personnel within the Florida state government infrastructure. The short-term contract period spanning approximately 10 months suggests a targeted procurement to address specific emergency preparedness or equipment replacement needs.
