The Florida Department of Children and Families awarded a contract (C60D92) on August 14, 2025, with a performance period through June 30, 2026. The contract involves the procurement of five low voltage thermostats, specifically designed for compatibility with electric forced air furnaces, gas forced air furnaces, and heat pump systems without auxiliary features. The thermostat model includes a manual control interface with millivolt push button slide switch and dehumidification control capabilities.

The contract's total value is $244, with a unit price of $48.96 per thermostat. The line item indicates a standard digital dual transmission system type, suggesting these are likely replacement or upgrade components for HVAC infrastructure within Florida state facilities managed by the Department of Children and Families. The procurement appears to be a targeted, small-scale equipment acquisition aimed at maintaining or upgrading environmental control systems in state-operated buildings or facilities.
