The Florida Department of Corrections awarded a term contract (C771C2) valued at $2,000.00 for the provision of liquefied petroleum gas (propane) and related delivery services. The contract covers the fiscal year period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and replaces the previous purchase order C5BDE9. The contract encompasses both facility-owned and rental tank options, with deliveries to be performed in Jackson County, Florida.

The contract specifies tiered delivery pricing based on volume and delivery method. Bobtail delivery services (4,500 gallons or less) are available at $0.360 per gallon for facility-owned tanks and $0.407 per gallon for rental tanks in Jackson County, while transport delivery services (exceeding 4,500 gallons) are priced at $0.269 per gallon. All liquefied petroleum gas products must conform to National Propane Gas Association (NGPA) 2140 specifications in their latest edition. The contract includes provisions for tank rental, installation, and maintenance services for rented tanks, with an optional bobtail delivery charge not to exceed $35 applicable for orders under 50 gallons or same-day delivery requests, unless the customer maintains scheduled delivery service.
