This is a sources sought for the following: United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) has a requirement for the procurement, customization, installation, integration, and delivery of three (3), Mobile Emergency Response Centers (MERCs) for use by the Armed Forces of Uruguay. The MERCs are self-sufficient, fully enclosed mobile communications and power systems installed on a single-axle trailer with an inflatable, attachable work shelter and are designed to carry all communications and ancillary equipment set forth in the attached SOW and to provide a climate controlled work space for the assigned personnel.

Mobile Emergency Response Center (MERC)
Added: Mar 26, 2015 6:00 pm This requirement will be awarded as an Indefinte-Delivery Indefinte-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the delivery of Mobile Emergency Response Centers (MERCs). The contract will contain 1 base year and 4 option years in the anticipation of future MERC requirements. The MERCs shall be a quote mark Turn Key quote mark communications trailer with all systems, components, accessories and attachments completely integrated as specified to enable the trailer to function reliably and efficiently in both Peace Operations (PO) and Foreign Humanitarian Assistance (F/HA) Operations. A self-propelled or motorized solution shall not be considered for this requirement. The trailer configurations shall have storage that fits all of the equipment described in the Statement of Work (SOW) that will be posted in the actual Solicitation approximately 2 weeks from today.
