Added: May 07, 2013 9:13 am The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-R) , anticipates a sole source IDIQ type, Cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA 92064 for an estimated 255,089 labor hours of engineering and technical services and associated material, travel and other direct costs which are required to support the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate's Joint System Integration Laboratory (JSIL) for technology integration into the contractor's fleet of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), including the Gray Eagle, and associated ground support equipment to allow demonstration of enhanced or improved UAS platform, payload, and ground systems performance. The ordering period will be 36-months with a 48-month total period of performance.
