The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded a single-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) worth up to $5 million over five years to Owens & Minor Distribution Inc., a for-profit medical supply company. The IDC supports the Strategic Programs for Expeditionary, Contingency, and Humanitarian Operations (SPE2CH) initiative, including the procurement of equipment and provisions for the Tactical Radio Over-the-Horizon Relay (TRBO) program and Region 3 contingency response missions.
Under this IDC, DLA has issued multiple firm fixed-price delivery orders to Owens & Minor for a diverse range of medical supplies, equipment, and consumables. Examples include wound care products, surgical instruments, examination gloves, disinfectants, and other hospital provisions. The orders, which do not have set-aside designations, are fulfilled from Owens & Minor's distribution center in Mechanicsville, Virginia. This IDC and associated delivery orders enable DLA to efficiently source critical medical commodities in support of military treatment facilities and contingency operations worldwide.
