The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded a single-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Owens & Minor Distribution, Inc., a medical and surgical supply distributor, for up to $5 million over a five-year ordering period. The contract is in support of DLA's Strategic Programs for Expeditionary, Contingency, and Humanitarian Operations (SPE2CH) initiative and the Tactical Radio Over-the-Horizon Relay (TRBO) program. Under this IDC, Owens & Minor will provide a diverse catalog of medical commodities, equipment, and provisions for TRBO-related logistics requirements and Region 3 contingency response missions. The contract has no set-aside restrictions, and performance will take place at Owens & Minor's distribution facility in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
The IDC is accompanied by multiple firm fixed-price delivery orders issued to Owens & Minor for medical supplies and equipment, such as examination gloves, surgical instruments, IV solutions, wound care products, and other hospital provisions. The delivery orders range in value from $7 to over $4,600, with the majority falling between $100 to $1,000. These task orders demonstrate the breadth of medical materiel Owens & Minor is poised to deliver to DLA and other federal agencies through this single-award IDC vehicle.
