About this IDV
The National Cancer Institute's Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG) awarded a single-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) valued up to $320 million to ICF Incorporated, L.L.C. to provide field preparation, biospecimen collection, clinical activities, and other support services for DCEG's epidemiology and genetic research programs through June 2027.
The contract has five primary task areas: (A) transition services, (B) field study management and support, (C) biospecimen activities and assay support, (D) exposure assessment, and (E) clinical support. ICF will coordinate and integrate all contract activities, including staffing, project prioritization, and subcontract management. The contract aims to support approximately 150 DCEG scientists conducting domestic and international studies with diverse research designs across epidemiology and genetics. This long-term IDC will allow DCEG to quickly access ICF's specialized expertise in areas like environmental monitoring, data management, regulatory compliance, and laboratory testing to advance its public health research mission.
