The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), through its Office of Acquisitions and Grants, has awarded a $495,000 single-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Intelligent International Inc., a minority-owned and self-certified small disadvantaged business. The IDC, which runs from January 2024 through January 2027, is for the procurement of photovoltaic solar panels and accessories to support the USGS Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility's need for approximately 850 solar panels annually, ranging from 10 to 65 watts, to power environmental sensors and data collection devices at over 10,000 remote stream flow and water quality monitoring sites nationwide.

The USGS has also issued two firm fixed price delivery orders under this IDC to Intelligent International Inc. The first order, valued at $46,405.30, is for the supply of solar panels and accessories to be delivered by June 27, 2024 to the USGS Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility at Stennis Space Center. The second order, valued at $69,717.15, is for the delivery of solar panels to the Stennis Space Center by January 31, 2027 to continuously power the environmental sensors across the Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility's network. These contracts demonstrate Intelligent International Inc.'s capability to support large-scale, mission-critical renewable energy projects for federal agencies.
