About this IDV
The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) East Zone, encompassing Regions 1, 2, and 4, has awarded a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) valued at up to $250,000 to provide potable and gray water trucks/handwashing stations on a trailer-mounted basis. This IDC is set aside for total small business contractors and will support fire suppression and all-hazard incident response efforts across the covered regions. The prime contractor, Black Forest, is a for-profit small business based in Walla Walla, Washington, that specializes in providing a range of wildland fire management equipment and personnel services to the USFS and other federal agencies.
The contracted equipment and services are intended to be rapidly deployable to support local, regional, and nationwide emergency response operations. Contractors must be capable of providing all necessary equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, and certified personnel to meet the agreement specifications. Proposed rates should be based on up to a 16-hour daily shift, with payment terms specified in the contract. The USFS may periodically assess the need to add additional contractors through an on-ramping process during the contract's 5-year period of performance.
