About this IDV
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service has awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) valued at up to $250,000 to Wild Fire Services, Inc., a for-profit subchapter S corporation, to provide water handling services in support of local, regional, and nationwide fire suppression and all-hazards incident response efforts across the West Zone regions (Regions 3, 5, 6, and 10).
The contract, which is set aside for small businesses, aims to establish multiple preseason Incident Blanket Purchase Agreements (I-BPAs) to quickly obtain water handling equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, trained personnel, and supervisory services as needed during emergency incidents on national forests and grasslands. Wild Fire Services, Inc. has a history of providing specialized firefighting resources, including hand crews, fire engines, and incident management teams, to the Forest Service through previous IDC and Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract vehicles. This new IDC will enable the agency to rapidly mobilize critical water handling capabilities to support its wildfire prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts across the western United States.
