About this IDV
The U.S. Forest Service, a civilian federal agency, has awarded multiple firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDCs) to Dust Busters, a self-certified small disadvantaged business, to provide water handling services and incident support resources for wildland fire suppression, land management activities, and all-hazard emergency response operations across 10 Western states.
These $250,000 maximum-value IDCs, issued through the Forest Service's Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) system, establish blanket purchase agreements that allow the agency to quickly issue task orders for water tender trucks, mobile laundry units, vehicle transportation with drivers, potable/gray water trucks, and other critical incident support equipment and personnel as needed. While some of the individual task orders utilize small business set-asides, the IDCs themselves do not have set-aside designations, enabling the Forest Service to access a range of incident response capabilities through this small business contractor across its Pacific Southwest, Intermountain, Rocky Mountain, and Southwestern regions.
