About this IDV

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Expeditors By Lindale Inc., a small business contractor, to provide potable water trucks, gray water trucks, and trailer-mounted handwashing stations for use during wildland fire suppression and all-hazard incidents across Regions 3, 5, and 6. This multiple award IDC, valued up to $250,000, allows the Forest Service to rapidly issue delivery orders for these critical incident support services and resources without the need for full and open competition.

Under this IDC, Expeditors By Lindale has received several delivery orders to date, valued from $7,500 to $38,400, to provide expedited logistics and transportation services, as well as specialized equipment, in support of the Forest Service's emergency response operations in the Southwestern, Pacific Southwest, and Rocky Mountain regions. The original solicitation was issued as a total small business set-aside through the Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) program, with the intent of competitively awarding multiple Indefinite Delivery Blanket Purchase Agreements (I-BPAs) to small businesses capable of rapidly deploying incident support resources nationwide.
