About this IDV

Environmental Solutions & Innovations, Inc., a women-owned small business based in Cincinnati, Ohio, was awarded a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement valued at $7.5 million by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service Region 8 (Southern Region) on December 21, 2021. The BPA was competitively solicited as a total small business set-aside (posted September 22, 2021, due October 25, 2021) and establishes an indefinite delivery vehicle for archaeological and cultural heritage services across multiple national forests within the Forest Service's Southern Region through December 21, 2026. Under this BPA authority, ESI provides comprehensive cultural resource management services including archaeological surveys, site identification and documentation, heritage resource assessments, and related cultural resource compliance support to facilitate the Forest Service's land and resource management activities on national forest lands.

Three task orders have been executed under this BPA to date, totaling $436,673.91 in firm fixed price awards. These include an archaeological survey of approximately 1,519 acres on the Kisatchie Ranger District to identify "Red Dirt" cultural sites ($172,254.60, completed August 17, 2023), an archaeological cultural survey of 1,515 acres in the Big Creek area of the Winn District on Kisatchie National Forest ($202,767.60, completed August 15, 2023), and heritage surveys of 631.16 acres associated with the Tiger Creek Stewardship Sale in Mississippi ($61,651.71, completed July 31, 2023). Two of the three task orders were designated as total small business set-asides, with places of performance in Pineville, Louisiana and Laurel, Mississippi. These task orders demonstrate ESI's operational capacity to deliver specialized archaeological field survey work supporting the Forest Service's cultural resource inventory and National Environmental Policy Act compliance requirements on southeastern national forest lands.
