About this IDV
This Blanket Purchase Agreement was awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region to provide stewardship contracting services across 14 National Forests in California. The BPA has a potential value of $50 million and a period of performance of 10 years, extendable to 20 years. Adamson & Son Logging, LLC is the prime contractor.
The BPA will be utilized to achieve land management goals through a variety of services, including timber harvesting, mastication, road maintenance, and other restoration work. Call orders will be issued on a forest-by-forest basis and may include integrated resource service contracts, service-based contracts, and restoration-based service contracts. Work will cover federal and local agency lands within 150 miles of the specified National Forests and can also include services on private lands administered by a government entity.
The original solicitation sought to establish the BPA to serve as the primary means of issuing future integrated resource service contracts, service-based contracts, and restoration-based service contracts across the 14 National Forests. Registration in the System for Award Management was required for contractors to be eligible for call orders under the BPA.
