THIS POSITION WILL OFFER EMERGENCY PANDEMIC RELIEF BY PROVIDING THE STAFF RESOURCES NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT CRS'S AFRICAN AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS TRAIL (THE TRAIL) PROJECT. THE TRAIL IS INTENDED TO FOSTER AN APPRECIATION OF THE PLACES AND FIGURES BEHIND SIGNIFICANT EVENTS THAT OCCURRED IN CLEVELAND DURING THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT FROM 1954-76, PROVIDE CONTEXT WITHIN THE BROADER PICTURE OF THE STRUGGLE FOR CIVIL RIGHTS THAT CONTINUES TODAY, AND PROMOTE CIVIL DISCOURSE AND SOCIAL CHANGE.
