About this award
The Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) was awarded a $199,596 Project Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities' Promotion of the Humanities Division of Preservation and Access program. The grant will support SAH staff who manage the organization's free, online public humanities programs and publications from November 2021 through October 2023. Key staff overseeing SAH's Archipedia online encyclopedia, communications, membership, and programs will develop additional content for the website, offer over 53 online programs, and publish teaching guides. It is expected that enriched content and newly published works will benefit SAH affiliates, students, teachers, architects, preservationists, travelers, and the general public seeking to learn more about the built environment.
