Through a $314,015 Project Grant from the Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration's Buses and Bus Facilities Formula, Competitive, and Low or No Emissions Programs (CFDA 20.526), Clarksville Transit Systems (CTS) will use the funds to acquire generators to power CTS buildings during electrical outages, purchase a farebox drop head/receiver for fare collection, and install new asphalt pavement at the CTS administrative and maintenance facility located in Clarksville, Tennessee. The award will enable CTS, a U.S. local government transit authority, to improve its operational reliability and infrastructure to better serve Clarksville citizens and stakeholders. CTS is not utilizing any sub-recipients for this project.
