The grant will fund a range of activities over a two-year period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026, including business counseling, technical assistance, workforce training, education services, facility upgrades, and community economic development projects designed to foster small business growth and support underserved entrepreneurial communities in Bellflower. The City of Bellflower has previously received over $7 million in formula grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for affordable housing, residential rehabilitation, public facilities, and economic development initiatives targeting low- and moderate-income populations.
