This $150,000 Project Grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Entrepreneurial Development under the Women's Business Ownership Assistance Program (CFDA 59.043) will enable Sistema Universitario Ana G. Mendez, Inc., a private non-profit Hispanic Serving Institution in Puerto Rico, to provide training, counseling, and technical assistance to support the growth of women-owned small businesses, with a focus on socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The grant funding will be used to deliver entrepreneurship training, business consulting, financial literacy programs, and facilitate access to capital for women entrepreneurs in the region. This award builds on Sistema Universitario Ana G. Mendez, Inc.'s prior experience administering federal grant and contract funding to support educational initiatives, research projects, and small business assistance programs.
