Economic and community development institute, INC.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded a $150,000 Project Grant to the Economic And Community Development Institute, Inc. (ECDI) under the Women's Business Ownership Assistance program (CFDA 59.043). The funding will support ECDI, a non-profit community development organization, in providing training, counseling, and technical assistance to small businesses owned and controlled by women, with a focus on socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs. Key activities will include delivering entrepreneurship education, business consulting, financial literacy services, mentoring, and facilitating access to capital for the target population of women-owned small businesses. This SBA grant aligns with the program's objective to remove discriminatory barriers women entrepreneurs face in accessing critical resources for business growth and expansion.
