Women's business development center

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded a $150,000 Project Grant under the Women's Business Ownership Assistance program (CFDA 59.043) to the Women's Business Development Center, Inc. (WBDC) for the period of September 30, 2023 through September 29, 2024. The WBDC, a non-profit organization, will use the grant funding to provide training, counseling, and technical assistance to small businesses owned and controlled by women, with a focus on socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Key services include entrepreneurship training, business planning, financing assistance, marketing support, government contracting guidance, and specialized support for businesses impacted by COVID-19. The WBDC has extensive experience delivering these services through previous SBA and Department of Transportation grant awards, enabling them to empower women entrepreneurs and small businesses towards growth and success.
