Office of women's business ownership

This $150,000 Project Grant from the Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Entrepreneurial Development under the Women's Business Ownership Assistance Program (CFDA 59.043) will fund the University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB to provide training, counseling, and technical assistance to small businesses owned and controlled by women, with a focus on socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The goal is to help remove discriminatory barriers that women entrepreneurs face in accessing capital, markets, management, and other critical resources for business growth. The award period runs from September 30, 2023 to September 29, 2024. As a Hispanic-serving institution, the University Enterprises Corporation will leverage its expertise and local community connections to deliver entrepreneurship training, business consulting, financial literacy programs, and facilitate access to capital specifically for women-owned small businesses in the San Bernardino and Riverside county region.
