About this award
The Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) was awarded a $300,000 Project Grant from the Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Entrepreneurial Development under the Women's Business Ownership Assistance (CFDA 59.043) federal grant program.
The three-year grant will fund WWBIC's continued delivery of training and counseling services to assist small businesses owned and controlled by women in Wisconsin, through September 2025. The Women's Business Ownership Assistance program aims to remove discriminatory barriers faced by women entrepreneurs in accessing capital and support services. WWBIC will use the SBA funding to provide entrepreneurship training, financial literacy workshops, and one-on-one business advising to women business owners in the Milwaukee area.
