Description
IT will enable US to publish, in print and digitally on mark twain project online (mtpo), critically edited texts of two large travel books: the innocents abroad and following the equator. In addition, we propose to add to mtpo a digital edition based on the three printed volumes of mark twain?s notebooks & journals, with high-resolution digital facsimiles of all notebook pages accompanying the fully annotated transcription. Lastly, we propose to publish on mtpo the edited texts of 586 letters written by mark twain in 1886, 1887, and 1888, and full annotation for 308 letters written in 1878, the texts of which are already available there.]
