This $397,995 Project Grant awarded by the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) under the Human Genome Research (CFDA 93.172) federal grant program supports the development and commercialization of Survey Genomics' CYTOPE-DROP platform. CYTOPE-DROP is an innovative approach that enables high-throughput, spatially-resolved single-cell multiomics analysis, integrating the measurement of gene expression, protein expression, and cellular location in a single assay. The project aims to further increase the spatial resolution of CYTOPE-DROP to 50 microns, scale manufacturing capabilities, and achieve compatibility with formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples. This will provide researchers the ability to analyze cellular organization and intercellular communication in the context of solid cancers, autoimmunity, neurodegeneration, fibrosis, and other disease areas. The award has a performance period from September 2024 to February 2025.
