The Department of Education Institute of Education Sciences awarded Wested a $2,834,457 Project Grant under the Education Research, Development and Dissemination program (CFDA 84.305) to support research activities from September 2018 through August 2022. The grant aims to improve the quality of education and increase student academic achievement by funding research that reduces achievement gaps between high- and low-performing students and expands access to and completion of postsecondary education. Wested will leverage the grant funds in San Francisco, California to conduct research and disseminate findings that meet the goals of improving educational outcomes for all students as outlined in the Education Research, Development and Dissemination program.
