THE PROJECT STARTED IN FY 2020 THROUGH THE BOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO TRIBES PROGRAM. WORK COMPLETED TO DATE HAS INVOLVED THE IDENTIFICATION OF FIVE SITES FAVORABLE FOR DRILLING INTO THE FRACTURED BEDROCK AQUIFER UNDERLYING TRIBAL LANDS, ENVIRONMENTAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES COMPLIANCE FOR DRILL SITES, DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR WELL DRILLING AND COMPLETION, SOLICITATION AND SELECTION OF A DRILLING AND PUMP CONTRACTOR, AND THE DRILLING AND COMPLETION OF WELLS AT TWO OF FIVE SITES.
