THE BARD WATER DISTRICT, LOCATED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA NEAR THE ARIZONA BORDER, WILL LINE 5,550FEET OF THE CURRENTLY EARTHEN ACOMA LATERAL WITH CONCRETE AND DECOMMISSION THE 2.5-MILE TITSING SUB-MAIN TO INSTALL A 36-INCH DIAMETER PIPELINE. THE PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN ANNUAL WATERSAVINGS OF 701 ACRE-FEET, WHICH IS CURRENTLY LOST TO SEEPAGE, EVAPOTRANSPIRATION, AND OPERATIONALLOSSES.
