The STRW intervention aims to address the significant DLS deficits often seen in this population, which can impact their transition to adulthood. The study will enroll 192 autistic teens and compare outcomes between those receiving the STRW-Telehealth intervention and an attention control group receiving the Peers-Telehealth social skills intervention. The study will also examine the impact of improved DLS on early adult outcomes, such as employment, college, and quality of life, 6 months after high school graduation.
