Rosenwald fellows interactive exhibit planning [this award will support the rosenwald park campaign in beginning activities to develop an interactive exhibit that presents and increases access to information about the julius rosenwald fellows program and the remarkable fellows who received the grants. Between 1928 and 1948, the fund invested in nearly 900 men and women as they pursued excellence in a range of fields. Two-thirds of the fellows were african americans. Most of the others were white southerns. This project will consist of expanding the campaign's current document on notable rosenwald fellows that contains a one-page summary of the fellowship program and brief biographies and photos of 96 notable fellows. The summary of the fellowship program will be significantly enhanced, and between 75 and 125 more notable fellows, both african american and white, will be added to the list of 96. The key task of this project will be doing the research to determine the fellows to be added and developing summaries for up to 125 more notable fellows. The photos of all the notable fellows in the updated document will be checked to ensure that they are in the public domain. Once completed, the expanded document will be posted on the campaign's website.]
