The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Tribe was awarded a $1,205,764 project grant from the Department of Commerce National Telecommunications and Information Administration under the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (CFDA 11.029). The funding will support upgrades to existing fiber optic infrastructure that currently serves tribal government offices, businesses, and community anchor institutions. In addition, upgrades will be made to 35 tribal households to improve broadband access.
