Thiscooperative agreement will advance the technologydevelopments and research which will be performedon future microgravity and space environmentmissions. The three specific objectives are to:1) validate the design of the 2-phasemicrogravity SEPARATOR2) validate the function of the device in themicrogravity ENVIRONMENT3) advance the current TRL level of the devicefrom TRL level 5 to TRL level 6THIS work will culminate in the demonstration ofthe ability of the thoracic drainage device tooperate as a medical suction unit inmicrogravity.
