This federal Project Grant award of $272,456.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program (CFDA 14.267) supports the Missouri Department of Mental Health's Division of Behavioral Health in providing a range of community-based behavioral health services, housing assistance programs, and substance abuse prevention and treatment initiatives. The funding will enable the Division to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families in Missouri, minimize trauma, and promote self-sufficiency, through eligible activities such as permanent housing, transitional housing, supportive services, and homelessness prevention. As a frequent recipient of federal grants, the Division partners with universities, nonprofits, and local organizations to enhance service delivery across the state.
