The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded a $394,032 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program grant (CFDA 14.267) to Good Samaritan Ministries, a non-profit organization in Holland, Michigan. The award, effective from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, will enable Good Samaritan Ministries to provide critical supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Ottawa County region. The grant funding will support a range of eligible activities, including temporary housing, case management, mental health and substance abuse treatment, job training assistance, and housing relocation support. This award is part of HUD's broader efforts to promote community-wide solutions to address homelessness and quickly rehouse vulnerable populations while minimizing the trauma associated with housing displacement.
